In this policy, "we" and "us" means Laxman Bikaner. We decide how the details you share with us are used, which makes us the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the basic technical data every website receives.

- Technical data: the server that hosts this site keeps short-lived logs (IP address, browser type, pages opened and the time) to keep the site running and secure.
Google Analytics, only if you allow it: when you tap "Allow analytics", Google Analytics uses cookies to record how you use the site (pages viewed, device type, approximate city, and taps on our WhatsApp, call and directions links). Until you allow it, it isn't loaded at all.
You don't need an account to use this site, we don't take payments on it, and we don't use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To reply to your message, by call or WhatsApp on the number you gave.
- To take, prepare and hand over your order, gift boxes or catering booking.
- To read your feedback and improve our food and service.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse.
We use your details only for the purpose you shared them for. We don't sell them, and we don't send you promotional messages unless you ask us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages only as long as we need them to answer you and complete your order, or as long as the law requires (for example, for tax records). After that we delete them. Server logs are cleared automatically. Google Analytics data is set to delete itself after 2 months.
How we keep it safe
The website runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and form messages go straight to a password-protected inbox that only our team can open. No website is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, when we no longer need it for your order or by law;
- stop using it, if you withdraw the consent you gave;
- let someone you nominate act for you if you are unable to.
Just contact us. If you aren't happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
